The Lone Fox sailboat
Come Aboard S/Y Lone Fox and Share the Dream!!!

This, one of a kind, Gentleman’s yacht was built in Sandbank, Scotland in 1957 for Col. Whitbred, the original sponsor of the Whitbred Round the World Race.  It was built by Alexander Robertson and Sons, to the design by Robert Clark, with a construction rating of Lloyds 100+.  She is constructed of Teak with an English Oak Interior and after a total refit concluding in 2002 she has been professionally maintained to original standards.

Lone Fox is a 65’ Ocean Racing Ketch designed to cradle its guests in comfort and style.  Whether day sailing or making fast passages to neighboring islands you will delight at the safe and stable feel of this magnificent yacht as she gracefully glides through her element.  It conjures up the greatest of sea adventures and will make a lasting memory for all on board.

About the Crew:

Owner / Captain Ira H. Epstein traces his sailing experience back 50 years to his childhood on Lake Michigan.  He has extensive long distance passage experience, including Cape Hope and the Straits of Magellan.  He spent over 30 years, in the San Francisco Bay, raising his family while working in the Financial District, prior to buying Lone Fox in 2006, and pursuing his “dream” in St Barth.

First Mate/Engineer Guillaume Touhadian is a young, French born, sailor and surfer, with 10 years in the Charter trade. He has extensive experiences from around the world and will delight you with his knowledge of places near and far, to say nothing of his impeccable and friendly service.

Chef: both Guillaume and Ira do a masterful job of creating and serving the best of what these islands have to offer, however a Chef may be hired if requested.
